8 inch depth from front of mantel to wall, live edge will fluctuate in depth size. We start with a 10 inch mantel and after finishing the ground face your mantel will be over 8 in deep.

Everyone of our cedar mantels are custom sawn and sanded. Our mantels are hand made there may be some sanding marks but we do our very best to create a beautiful rustic mantel for you fireplace . We use a urethane finish to protect but recommend our clients take care in how they treat the mantel. Cracks or checking is normal in solid beam fireplace but we dry these mantels so we can kull out the bad ones.  Small cracks and knot gaps are filled with epoxy and creates beautiful visual effects.  Please contact us with any questions..
Its typical for larger timbers to have cracks and checking as the mantel matures and continues to cure and age. This is normal and should not cause alarm. Contact us with questions. We guarantee our mantels to be created to minimize this from happening.

Each Soaring eagle is a bit different but alike. This eagle is created from Oak  and it stands over 3 ft.

Each eagle is custom made out of white oak.  There will be some differences in every carving but basically all the same.   This is a very popular carving that we are most known for.,  So we pride ourselves on creating the best in each one made

CUSTOM CARVED EAGLE with memorial writing 

We start with a salvaged tree log  using chainsaws Trapper blocks out the carving, than its hours of grinding and sanding, if its to be customized with name or words than it is done with Dremel's and chisels. after that there is burning of the wood to get shading just right followed by more sanding. from there multiple coats of spar urethane is applied over a few days.  This is the process with all our carvings.

THIS IS ONE OF OUR MOST CREATED SCULPTURES.

This eagle is 3 foot.

Made from Missouri hardwoods. These are heavy and Beautiful.  

There will be multiple layers of spar urethane to give it a beautiful shine. Excellent for out door memorial.
